Park Square Capital raises €4bn in fifth vintage of junior capital fund

9 September 2025

9 September 2025, London: Park Square Capital (“Park Square”), one of the world’s leading independent private credit investors, today announces the successful final close of Park Square Capital Partners V (“PSCP V” or “The Fund”) with over €2.4bn of LP commitments, significantly exceeding the initial €1.75bn target and marking a record raise for the strategy.

Together with leverage and committed co-investment capital, PSCP V’s total investable capital is approximately €4bn, which is substantially larger than its previous vintage, Park Square Capital Partners IV, which closed at €2.2bn in May 2021 and included €1.5bn of LP commitments.

PSCP V is the fifth vintage of Park Square’s junior capital strategy, building on its leading market position in Europe and growing presence in North America. The Capital Partners team is led by Partners Ruediger Blank and Martino Ghezzi.

The Fund follows the established strategy of its predecessor funds, targeting both primary capital solutions and dislocated debt, and is designed to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns through the credit cycle.

The Fund supports market-leading, stable businesses across Europe and North America, with a strong emphasis on partnerships with private equity sponsors. PSCP V expects to make 30 to 40 total investments across Business Services, Software, Healthcare, and high-margin Industrial companies, and has made 20 investments to date. Park Square takes a highly selective approach to asset selection and has invested more than $29bn of capital over the last two decades.

PSCP V attracted a diverse group of investors by type and geography, including commitments from pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds and other institutional investors across Europe, North America and Asia. The Fund admitted a number of new Limited Partners, including some of the world’s leading institutional investors. This is a powerful endorsement of Park Square’s investment strategy, its 20+ year track record of performance across credit cycles, and its market leadership in Europe and North America.

Robin Doumar, Managing Partner at Park Square, said: “We are delighted by the success of the fund raise and we thank our investors for their support. It’s great to see so many leading institutional investors recognising the strength of our track record, our leadership position in Europe and our growing presence in North America. With the scale of this fund, we are well positioned to support private equity sponsors and companies with tailored financing solutions throughout the credit cycle – a key strength that continues to underpin the global expansion of our offering.”
